Sinongumbomvu – Cedara – May 2015

May 1, 2015/0 Comments/in Thank You Letters/by admin

Dear Sue

As the second term draws to a close, I would like to express my appreciation on behalf of the staff and learners for your involvement at Sibongumbomvu Combined School.

Thank you for travelling from Hillcrest to teach our Grade 6 and 7 learners about body changes in puberty. I believe you presented to both boys and girls, which was a first for you.

Thank you also for handing over SUBZ washable pads and new underwear to all our Grade 7 girls on behalf of Chantyl Fryer, a recent visitor from Australia.

I am happy to report a decrease in absenteeism. According to Mrs McKay, the Grade 7 teacher, every girl has been present at school since your visit, and has completed her exams for June.

With much appreciation,

Mr NP Mtshali
Principal

Kwa Care – Lauren Du Rant

April 28, 2015/0 Comments/in Activations/by admin

We distributed the packs at illanga Secondary School in KwaDabeka and the girls were very excited and grateful. They are all either orphans or other highly vulnerable girls, most of whom come from very impoverished homes – this will make a huge difference in their lives and give them dignity.
